Flann’s new dielectric stub tuner provides a high-performance alternative to conventional waveguide stub tuners by replacing traditional metal posts with high-dielectric stubs, eliminating the need for electrical contact with the waveguide wall. This approach requires carefully selected materials that combine a high dielectric constant with a very low loss factor, while maintaining minimal size and excellent mechanical stability. Flann’s new dielectric stub tuner technology addresses these requirements, enabling robust, repeatable tuning solutions for operation up to 500 GHz and beyond.
