Specifications
Each polariser is optimised for the frequency band of interest. Designs are generally suitable for use up to about a third of a waveguide band. They can handle average power up to the capability of straight waveguide of the same size. Requires circular waveguide interface at each port. Transitions from rectangular to circular waveguide are available from Flann and can be supplied with the corrugated polariser as a single assembly. Flanges can be arranged to allow the corrugated polariser to be manually positioned for either right-hand or left-hand circular polarisation.
